"Attitude towards Teaching Profession and Academic Motivation, digital literacy skills among Prospective Teachers"

Abstract

  • The objective of the study was to ascertain the correlation between academic motivation, attitudes towards the teaching profession, and digital literacy abilities of prospective teachers in digital libraries

  • Teachers have a vital role in the educational system, hence it is imperative that they exhibit exceptional abilities, uphold high levels of morale and motivation, and actively engage in continuous professional growth. In essence, instructors, who are the most vital elements of the system, should be given particular consideration. Considering both their perspectives and their behaviors is crucial.

  • The attitudes and actions discussed in their search were done by Akkuset et al. (2018) and Blazar & Kraft (2017) directly influence the level of engagement and understanding of students. An individual's attitude refers to their predisposition to react to circumstances or objects (Temizkan, 2008).

  • According to the Joint Information Systems Commission (2015), digital learning is a crucial competency for learners in the 21st century. The present study employed a survey research methodology and a correlational technique.

  • The study's sample consisted of 120 prospective instructors who held Bachelor of Science (BS) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degrees. Data was acquired using a rudimentary sampling methodology.

  • The dimensions of interest in this study were assessed using the Attitude Toward Teaching Profession Scale (Kahramanolu,2018), Digital Literacy Skills Scale (Üstündaet al.,2017), and Academic Motivation Scales (Karagüven, 2012).

  • Teachers' attitudes affect their professionalism.

  • The correlation matrix revealed a statistically significant positive association between future teachers' self-engagement and their digital literacy skills, attitude toward teaching, and academic motivation.

  • Fundamental linear regression analysis revealed a distinct correlation between academic motivation, attitudes toward teaching, and digital literacy skills. Gender inequalities were apparent.

  • The report suggests engaging education authorities and adopting steps for teacher training.

  • Implementing strategies to enhance the academic motivation and digital proficiency of prospective educators and teachers is also in this regard.

"Study on different sections in Main Library of University of Punjab"

PU Introduction:

The PU main library has many sections.

  • Multimedia section, in which manual materials are transferred in digital format and this section is responsible for the digitization of library materials from different software and electronic resourcesThis section also downloads books from different digital library websites (like Libgen)

  • In 1988, the UNO section was part of the Serial section. These were combined sections in the past but nowadays, they work separately. Publications in the UNO section are around 25000. Punjab University Library has established a Chinese Corner in Punjab University Library in collaboration with Chinese Educational Publications Import and Export Corporation Limited. This corner is sponsored by China Hanban and the corporation has donated 300 publications.

  • Serial sections, which are published at specific time intervals in all National & International Journals and newspapers are available in English & Urdu.

  • Acquisition plays an essential role in the library like the backbone of the library.

  • Technical section, allot the classification number to the books through DDC, assign Cuter Mark through Cuter Register data entered in MLIMS Catalog then make Barcode and Spine-label of books.

  •  Library circulation includes checking out library materials for library patrons, renewing borrowed items, storing checked-out items for patrons, checking returned materials, checking materials for damages and the time of return, and if found damaged then giving that to the responsible staff for repair and when repair is not possible then replacement, renewal of materials and receiving payment of fines for damaged and overdue materials and payment for library membership.

  • The library reference section is essential and provides many reference services to users. It provides relevant resources for quick and accessible information on a specific topic. The other name of the reference section is the Information Reference Center, which provides in-house services.

"(HRM) Human resource management"

We learn HRM from the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) from an Islamic point of view:

  • Muhammad (PBUH) is an example of Mercy for all humanity, also Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) brought a revolution to the lives of people. There is no example of this revolution in human history. The Quran and Sunnah are the basic references of our religion because these two things complete the teachings of Islam.

  • The life of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) is an example in this world who believes in Allah and the Day of Judgment and the Prophet (peace be upon him) can lead us to Paradise. The life of Muhammad (PBUH) is very important for all Muslims in Islam because he guides all mankind in Islam. The people called him "Sadiq or Ameen" by name. The Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the way of Jannah for all Muslims in Islam.

  • Hazrat Muhammad was born and died in the month of Rabi-ul-AwalMuhammad was born but his father Abdullah died 6 months before. When Muhammad was 2 years old, he had to stay with his temporary mother, Halima, and her husband. At the age of 6 years old, Muhammad lost his real mother, Amina to illness and was raised by his grandfather, Abd-ul-Mutlib, until he died when Muhammad was 8 years old. After that, he came under the guardianship of his uncle Abu Talib.

  • When the Prophet (PBUHstarted to trade, the people found him an honest person in dealings and the people invested money in his trade. Due to his upright character during this time, he acquired the title of “Sadiq and Ameen” which is why The Holy Prophet (PBUH) adopted this trade as a profession. Muhammad (PBUH) worked as a trader for Khadija and she was a widow until the age of 25 years old.

  •  Muhammad married Khadija. He (PBUH) relied upon Khadija and married her as his first wife. After the death of Khadija, Khawla bint Hakim suggested two women that Muhammad should marry: a Muslim widow, Hazrat Sauda and Hazrat Aisha lived in Macca. The third wife of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is named Aisha.

“KNOWLEDGE SHARING PRACTICES IN LEARNING ENVIRONMENT”

Abstract:

  • The terminology “knowledge-sharing practices" has one explicit component.

  • The researchers must design at the time of research, theory, and practice from these fields concerned with both these components which helps the learners to access unlimited knowledge and share it with competent.

  • This present research design is the time selected from “Knowledge Sharing and Practice" in which the scope of work relates to knowledge-sharing in the learning environment for learners

  • The larger term “Knowledge Sharing” is used in both fields, which provides an understanding of the different issues based on knowledge seeking and sharing in the learning era. It is often called information learning and seeking is very essential in every field.

  • Knowledge sharing has many practices that help many learners in the learning climate.

  • Nowadays, the world is a “World of Digital Information” because it acquires all types of electronic information that is important to every learner in that information-sharing climate. However, the major importance of knowledge-sharing practices is to give different information in different ways to learners in that learning environment. Additionally, the perception of learning is promoted by information sharing that provides valuable knowledge relevant to the topic of the learners, but there are few doubts about the possibility of the best knowledge sharing for the learners in the learning era.

  • This study focuses on how knowledge sharing should take many practices into the learning environment among learners according to new information-seeking and sharing with others.

  • The larger term "information literacy" is used in this regard.

  • The research suggests additional quantitative investigations, and comparative research to fully understand the ethical issues and develop responsible implementation techniques to solve these issues in knowledge sharing.

  • The conclusion of data privacy concerns students in guiding the use of knowledge sharing in HEC. The University level student graphs this opportunity successfully.
